Mary-Ann's BIO

I am a fourth year medical student at WVUH. I will graduate in December, hoping to match in pediatrics. I grew up in Clarksburg, WV, but I have been in Morgantown since 1999. I went to undergrad here for a major in biology and minor in philosophy. I come from a large family. I have 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 4 nephews, a niece, and a step-nephew in addition to my parents, step-mom, brother and sister-in-laws. I am very close to my family. Holidays and parites are a lot of fun!! I also have a cat, Muffy, who's 10 yo and fat, and 3 fish, Snape, Longbottom, and Minerva. Yes, I am a Harry Potter fan. I am a member of Chestnut Ridge Community church in Morgantown, WV, but I also attend First Methedist in Clarksburg with my family. I have been out of the country one time. I travelled around Spain for 2 weeks. I have never done a medical mission trip. I am very excited and nervous!! I look forward to what I am sure will be an amazing educational and spiritual experience!
