Becky Reece: brief bio

I am a fourth year medical student at WVU going into Internal Medicine. I am from a small town in southern WV, one of four kids. I have always had an interest in international work since my first mission trip to a Russian orphanage in my junior year of high school. Since then I’ve had several wonderful opportunities to travel, both mission oriented and leisurely. Places I’ve been besides four trips to Russia, include studying in France, backpacking through Europe, and a medical trip to Zambia. I am really excited about this trip to Ghana, helping the people as best I can, as well as learning as much as I can. I hope to continue international work with my career. Other interesting tidbits: I have an identical twin, who will be in Uganda while I’m in Ghana on her own medical rotation; love to read, huge Harry Potter fan; enjoy sports, both playing and watching.
