Here are some photos from our days in Ghana.
On the left are some boys at church who found us more interesting than the choir.

This mother is getting nutritional assistance at the Kokodu.
She really wanted me to take this picture. We were at the mill, getting the millet and soy beans milled to prepare them for making porridge or koko. The babies breast feed almost constantly, and there seems to be no modesty about it. (but if you wear pants it is not appropriate, and don't even think of showing your knees!) Giving the mother koko will enable her to make good milk for the baby.

Here's a little girl who was playing with Tracey's stethoscope before she had a bath. She has a family member in the hospital. This is the passageway between the hospital and the isolation wards. One ward is for wound care, one is for meningitis. TB patients live further away in "TB Village" for their many months of treatment.

Thank-you so much for showing us these pictures. Kavara's family checks this blog several times a day, and it is always gratifying to see new entries and pictures. It helps us know some of what you all are experiencing and that everything is ok!
